The company has specialized in custom draperies for 15 years. Louise and Edward Jansen became one of six California based owners in 1990 when they purchased Napa and Solano counties as their territories. In 1993 Louise and Edward expanded into Sonoma County and again in 1995 into Contra Costa County. Since its inception the business has been growing at a rate of 20% per year. We are shown the latest fabrics and related products as they become available to our vendors each season. LOUISE JANSEN/Owner, Designer, ASID Allied Member
Louise Jansen is not only a premiere designer here at The Drapery Source, but also the owner. Louise earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Architectural Design at the California College of Arts and Crafts. Many years of experience have taught her the importance of scale and proportion in home designs. This, combined with the ability to coordinate floral prints, plaids and stripes helps her to create a truly custom look for her clients. Louise is a firm believer and participant in continuing her education in the areas of interior design and business. She thoroughly enjoys working with her clients.

Her husband Ed is a Captain in the Fire Department and is also active in the business, handling installations and other needs as they arise. Louise also has a daughter attending Sonoma State College who is active in tennis and piano.

ED JANSEN/Owner, Installer
Ed Jansen is an owner of The Drapery Source, along with his wife Louise. In addition to handling some of the installations. Ed is a Captain/Paramedic in the Daly City Fire Department. Ed continues to enrich his knowlege base in both firefighting and window coverings by completing officer and paramedic certification, and receiving a California Contractors License in window covering installations.

TERRY LYNCH/Consultant
Terry has been a consultant with The Drapery Source for over 9 years of her 34 years in the design trade. Previously she was a decorating consultant for a national design studio completing projects from small residential to full size commercial acount needs. With years of experience Terry has gained the ability to provide not only valuable advice but she holds the product knowledge needed to aquire fabric and design expertise. Terry embraces the challenge of working within space limitations and budget constraints to provide the desired end results.

Terry has been married for 30+ years to her husband Peter. They have two daughters, one graduated from Cal Poly and UCSD and is a Nurse Practitioner in San Diego, specializing in women's health. The other daugher graduated from San Diego State University and is a P.E. teacher and coach in San Diego.

SHIRLEY KENNEDY/Consultant
Shirley Kennedy came to The Drapery Source in 2001 to work part-time as a designer. Previously Shirley ran her own design and workrooom business, utilizing her design skills as well as her superb sewing abilities. Shirley now enjoys being a consultant with The Drapery Source since design was the part of her business she took pleasure in the most. Her experience in drapery fabrication, coupled with her pleasant personality, allows her an edge when consulting her clients.

Shirley has eight children who live in various parts of the world. This allows her the ability to fulfill her love to travel, while enjoying her family at the same time.

BASHA QULICI/Consultant
Basha Qulici has over 30 years in the window treatment and design field, running her own firm for 13 years. Her specialty is residential and executive & home office design and has participated in numerous Designer Showcase Homes in Marin. She enjoys the challenge of difficult window treatments and has a flare for mixing patterns and adding texture. An artist as well, Basha creates one of a kind mosaic installations and designs and teaches the art of traditional hooked rugs.

Basha has been married for 28 years to husband, Tom and together they have two children. They also own a horse boarding/training facility in Marin County.

LORRAINE ANDERSON/Consultant
Lorraine came to The Drapery Source through a furniture gallery and a large design store. With over 25 years of experience in the design arena, Lorraine is passionate about her work. "I have a passion for color" she replied, when asked what motivates her design projects. Being able to pull together a design that showcases the client's personality, lifestyle, color pallette, and brings a beauty to their space is very rewarding.

Lorraine's other passions in life include her husband Scott and their six children and nine grandchildren.

MARY DELANEY-PEARSON/Project Manager
All of our clients work with Mary. Once a design is purchased from one of our designers. Mary then takes over the design project. She works closely with our designers, vendors, and installers to make sure your design project goes according to plan.

You can also find Mary pursuing a degree in International Political Economics as well as a year long course study of the alternative health benefits of essential oils. A long time artisit, Mary teaches art classes to children, participates in art shows, in which she specializes in recycled art and interactive designs. Mary has been married to husband Danny for over 30 years. They have a son, two daughters and a new daughter-in-law.

TERRI MUNSON/Bookkeeper
Terri has been our part-time bookkeeper since March of 2004. She currently is working every Thursday and has over 35 years of bookkeeping exerience.

Terri lives in Vacaville with her husband Ken and their children Haley and Van.

CHRISTINE FARMER SIVILLE/Advertising Representative
Since 2000 Christine has been managing the advertising for The Drapery Source. This involves working closely with the owners creating advertisments, newsletters, tracking responses, looking for new marketing vehicles, promotional items, websites, and even planning events. Christine is always looking for new testimonials, so please feel free to email her with your comments at christine@thedraperysource.net!

Christine has been married to her husband James since 1998 and they have two amazing little girls. Since James is in the Air Force her family moves often and are currently residing at Scott AFB in Illinois.
