Curtain holdbacks and tiebacks (also called curtain pullbacks) are accessories that gather and hold curtains open.

Curtain holdbacks are tiebacks that serve the same functions but differ in style and installation process.

Tie-back curtains can give volume and a regal look. They are traditionally crescent-shaped and made by covering stiff cotton cloth called ‘buckram’ with a light wadding and furnishing fabric.
